TVB's brand-new fantasy reality show Academy of Superpowers is set to make a thrilling debut!

The world’s first supernatural talent development competition show, Academy of Superpower, is set to premiere on June 14, 2025. Airing every Saturday and Sunday at 10pm on Astro TVB Jade (Channel 310) and TVB Anywhere, the groundbreaking program is proudly presented by Prophet Astrology and meticulously produced by TVB’s professional production team. Blending youth, fantasy, reality, and competition, this genre-defining show marks a new era in Asian supernatural entertainment—inviting viewers into a world where reality and the extraordinary collide.

The press conference was hosted by TVBM artist Ezen Chan. During the media event, Miya, General Manager of Seer Onnet, shared that Academy of Superpower is an unprecedented and highly compelling reality show focused on the development of supernatural abilities. The program features veteran host Spencer Leung as the “Academy Principal,” who, together with three esteemed masters from the metaphysics field—Master Fung Sui, Master Fat Ming, and Master Dou Yuen—will guide participants in exploring their hidden potential and embarking on a journey of supernatural awakening. This is a show audiences won’t want to miss.

Spencer Leung shared at the event that, despite having over two decades of experience in hosting paranormal-themed programs, this production is by far the most thrilling and impactful one he has ever worked on. He added that Academy of Superpower has strong potential to win multiple awards internationally. “In fact, everyone possesses some degree of supernatural ability—like a woman’s intuition,” he said. “This show will also teach viewers how to unlock and apply those latent powers.”

Spencer Leung  also emphasized that every scene in the show is 100% authentic, with no special effects added. “By the time you reach the second episode, you’ll be so overwhelmed, you might even be moved to tears,” he said. “I truly believe television has never delivered this kind of experience before.”

He also recounted a mysterious incident during filming: while shooting inside a castle, he noticed that the crew members positioned opposite him were completely unable to hear what he was saying. It was only after guidance from the masters that he realized the location harbored another dimension—two different spatial realms coexisting at the same moment in the same place.

One of the mentors, Master Fung Sui, also shared intriguing behind-the-scenes stories from the shoot. He revealed that numerous unexplained phenomena occurred during production, including a cameraman fainting without reason and the host being inexplicably blocked by a mysterious force, preventing him from appearing on camera. During a spiritual cleansing ritual conducted inside the castle, the expelled entities even affected staff and participants outside the ritual area, causing headaches, discomfort, and other physical symptoms—a clear indication of the intense energy and spiritual presence on set.

The show was filmed at various historically rich and spiritually significant locations across Ipoh, Malaysia, adding an authentic and mysterious atmosphere to the production. Spencer Leung expressed his deep fondness for Malaysia, revealing that he had purchased a property in Kuala Lumpur as early as eight years ago. However, due to his busy schedule, he has yet to move in—a testament to his longstanding connection with the country.
