Presented by Maybank and Golden Destinations, and organized by Star Planet, the highly anticipated Jacky Cheung “60+ Concert Tour” is set to take the stage at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, for a six-night spectacle on August 15-17 and August 22-24, 2025.

The Jacky Cheung 60+ Concert Tour marks the Hong Kong legend’s tenth solo concert series, and from the very first moment, the “God of Songs” proved unstoppable. Launching into a high-energy set packed with powerful vocals and dynamic dance moves, Cheung had the entire arena on its feet as fans’ deafening screams echoed throughout. Laughing at his own adrenaline rush, he admitted: “I was a little too excited the moment I came on stage!”

Recalling his unexpected onstage collapse in Malaysia back in 2023 due to inner ear imbalance, Cheung didn’t shy away from humor: “The first thing I reminded myself upon arriving in Malaysia this time was   don’t faint again!” He shared that he had mentally prepared before the show, constantly cheering himself on: “Stand firm, Jacky Cheung, you’ve got this!”

Friday’s Kuala Lumpur show marked the 269th performance of the “60+” world tour. Rising dramatically from a platform, Cheung opened with “Overture” before diving straight into “Ooh La La,” “Road Hero,” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” With his explosive vocals, intense stage presence, and signature growls, the arena erupted in excitement. He powered through 12 songs in nearly an hour before finally pausing to chat with the audience.“Im so happy to be back in Kuala Lumpur!” Jacky   greeted fans with his trademark warmth, joking about his overexcitement that led him to mix Cantonese with Mandarin and even walk in the wrong direction, drawing laughter from the crowd. When he asked how many were seeing him for the first time, the arena roared back. Teasingly, he quipped: “Really? So the ones who came last time didn’t show up this round? Gave their tickets away? Well, thats good too  more new friends can join in!”

Despite often reminding fans that he’s already “in his sixties,” Jacky    impressed with his signature splits, earning thunderous applause. “I better get down quickly, or you’ll think I’ve gotten rusty! Actually no — after more than 200 shows and rehearsals, I’ve done this move at least a thousand times!” he laughed. In a heartfelt moment, he made a promise: “I’ll keep working hard. After these six shows, I hope to create a brand-new concert. Before I turn 70, we’ll meet again!”

As the night drew to a close, Cheung delivered a string of timeless ballads including “Forget Him (Li Xianglan),” “She Came to Listen to My Concert,” and “Love You More Every Day,” sparking an emotional sing-along with thousands of fans. He revealed that the setlist was specially tailored for Malaysian audiences with their most beloved classics. Finally, with “Legend of the Hungry Wolf” and a rock version of “Goodbye Kiss,” Cheung brought the house down. Performing for a full 2 hours and 45 minutes, Jacky Cheung’s first Kuala Lumpur stop of the 60+ Concert Tour ended in a powerful mix of passion and nostalgia proving once again why he remains an untouchable icon in the music world.
