Presented by Television Broadcasts Limited International Business (TVBI) and Gateway Entertainment , the inspirational musical concert When You Believe: The Magical Symphony of Life, Voice, and Dreams concluded in grandeur at Singapore’s Gateway Theatre on November 6 and 7, 2025.
This meaningful production celebrated not only the 25th anniversary of world-renowned magician Lawrence Khong and his daughter Priscilla Khong performing together on stage, but also marked the first cross-border collaboration between TVBI and Gateway Entertainment a mesmerizing fusion of magic and music that enchanted audiences.

The concert unfolded through five themed chapters — Opening, Faith, Hope, Love, and Finale blending music and illusion to tell heartfelt stories of courage, dreams, and love.
Performers included Midlife, Sing & Shine! 3 champion Bo Wong (黄博), third-place winner Liu Yang (刘洋), Li Jin Kai (李金凯), Rax Teh (王郑浚仁), as well as Midlife, Sing & Shine!2 Kimman Wong (黄剑文) and Midlife, Sing & Shine!1 Venus Chi (支喾仪).
Together, the six vocalists performed beloved Cantonese, Mandarin, and English classics, guiding the audience on a moving musical journey that transcended languages and generations.

The evening opened with spectacular dance and illusion acts — Flambe and Torch Box — setting an electrifying tone. Lawrence and Priscilla’s signature “Magic Box” act introduced the six Infinity and Beyond singers, who emerged in surprise to perform “Believe in Yourself”, igniting the Faith chapter with thunderous applause.

Bo Wong impressed with his steady vocals in “This Very Night”, while the “Prince of Dolphin Notes” Rax Wang delivered his new single “I Am the Stage”, wowing the crowd with his trademark high notes. Venus Chi charmed with “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”, and Li Kam Kai brought light-hearted energy with “Unruly Wind”.
Crowd favorite Kimman Wong stirred nostalgia with “What Do You Want for a Lifetime”, stepping off stage mid-performance to interact with fans. Closing the segment, Liu Yang delivered a touching rendition of “What’s the Point of Winning the World if I Lose You”, wrapping up the opening chapter on an emotional note.

In the Hope chapter, Priscilla Khong stunned audiences with a breathtaking high-altitude escape act, Jaws of Death — breaking free from restraints in a 6-meter-high cage within a 60-second countdown of flames — symbolizing triumph over fear and the rebirth of hope.

Venus followed with “Mercy” and “Love You for Sure”, while Bo Wong touched hearts with “Who Cares Who I Am” and “Like a Swallow”. Rax performed his hit Singapore composition “Tong Hua Shun” (Straight Flush), winning rousing applause.
Kimman’s soulful “Love Like Tides” segued into the local anthem “Home”, prompting a heartfelt audience singalong. Lawrence’s poetic snow illusion “Snowstorm”, symbolizing that “every snowflake is one of a kind”, left the hall deeply moved.
In the Love chapter, Li Kam Kai delivered heartfelt performances of “Falling Blossoms” and “The Love of My Life”, moving the audience to tears.
Liu Yang brought laughter when, after performing “Without You” on opening night, he forgot his next cue and cheerfully introduced the next singer — only to be reminded and return to sing “I Am a Little Bird”. The lighthearted moment became one of the most endearing highlights of the evening.
Rax then closed the section with a tender rendition of “Everything”, filling the hall with warmth and emotion.
As the grand finale began, Rax reignited the stage with “Spark of Love”, followed by Li Kam Kai and Kimman’s dynamic duet “A, B, C, D”. Liu Yang led the audience in a singalong of “I Hate That I’m So Obsessed”, before Bo Wong and Venus Chi reunited to perform the titular anthem “When You Believe”.
Their soaring harmonies, paired with breathtaking stage visuals, brought the spectacular night to a powerful and emotional close—a celebration of faith, hope, love, and the magic of believing.

The Midlife, Sing & Shine! family lit up the stage with powerful performances and shared laughter offstage enjoying Singapore’s delicious local cuisine together before the show.

After the concert, a heartfelt fan gathering was held to thank their supporters a warm and touching moment filled with smiles and gratitude.

Venus, Rax, and Kimman seized the rare chance to perform together in Singapore and, of course, capped the night with a late-night supper, savoring the city’s famous eats.
