Owen Cheung and Moon Lau Attend TVB Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival Event, Celebrating the Festive Season with Malaysian Fans

In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, TVBI hosted the “TVB Family Reunion: Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival” event at Jinhe Plaza, bringing TVB stars Owen Cheung and Moon Lau to Malaysia for a special meet-and-greet with fans.

Despite heavy rain on the day, fans remained enthusiastic, with many braving the downpour in raincoats and under umbrellas to show their support. The event was hosted by TVBI artiste Ezen Chan, with fellow artistes Xair and Alan also taking part.

Xair performed “Let Me Fly High”

while Alan delivered “Escort” and revealed that he will be releasing a new song in December.

Owen and Moon received a warm welcome when they appeared on stage. Owen shared that it was his first time celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival in Malaysia and joked about trying the country’s famous durian mooncakes. While he prefers the traditional double-yolk lotus seed paste flavour, Moon said she enjoys almost every type of mooncake — although she would have to “pay it back” with exercise afterwards.

The duo also shared their ideal TVB companions for a Mid-Autumn gathering. Owen named veteran artistes including Moses Chan, Kenneth Ma and Ha Yu, while Moon chose her close friends Cecilia Choi and Regina Liu, whom she affectionately referred to as her “wives”.

Both artistes also spoke about their latest projects, with Moon sharing behind-the-scenes stories from “The Model Lawyer” and Owen discussing his new drama “Imitation of Life” and memorable moments with his co-stars.

Despite the persistent rain, fans stayed on for the games and photo sessions with the artistes. The celebration concluded on a warm and memorable note, creating special Mid-Autumn memories for the artistes and their Malaysian fans.
