Owen Cheung and Moon Lau Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with Malaysian Fans at Hextar World Empire City

To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, TVBI hosted the TVB “Homecoming Moonlight” Mid-Autumn Fan Meet, bringing Hong Kong TVB artistes Owen Cheung and Moon Lau to Hextar World Empire City for an evening of fun and festivities with their Malaysian fans. The artistes met and interacted with fans, took part in exciting games, and joined a lantern procession, creating unforgettable memories together under the Mid-Autumn moon.

The event also marked the final stop of Owen Cheung and Moon Lau  Mid-Autumn Festival visit to Malaysia. The Hextar World Empire City plaza was packed with enthusiastic fans, many of whom came specially to show their support for their favourite artistes. The atmosphere was electric throughout the evening, with cheers and applause ringing across the venue.

The event was hosted by TVBI artiste and emcee Ezen, who officially kicked off the festivities. Upon taking the stage, Owen and Moon warmly greeted their Malaysian fans and shared their joy at celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival together.

During their conversation with Ezen , the artistes also reminisced about their favourite Mid-Autumn Festival moments and shared fun anecdotes from their personal experiences. They also opened up about their experiences filming their respective upcoming dramas, “The Model Lawyers” and “Imitation of Life”, offering the audience a glimpse into some of the entertaining stories and memorable moments behind the scenes.

The festivities continued with Owen and Moon joining a traditional lion dance performance and fans for a lantern procession around the plaza. With colourful lanterns lighting up the venue, the celebration was filled with a vibrant Mid-Autumn atmosphere, adding a unique festive touch to the evening.

Owen then delighted fans with performances of “Love Is You” and “Song of the Years.” During his performances, he stepped off the stage to greet fans and exchange handshakes, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

Adding a heartwarming moment to the evening, Moon, who was seated among the audience, also reached out to shake Owen hand, playfully showing her excitement like a devoted fan. Her adorable reaction drew laughter and cheers from the crowd.

Moon then took the stage to perform “A Little Happiness” and “Try Everything.” Her captivating vocals created a romantic and heartwarming atmosphere, leaving fans thoroughly immersed in the performances.

Beyond the musical performances, Owen and Moon also took part in interactive games with the audience, giving lucky fans the opportunity to engage with the artistes up close and capture memorable moments through photographs.

Their warm, natural and engaging personalities were met with an enthusiastic response from fans, with cheers and applause continuing throughout the evening.
