"Watch & Win: Mother's Day Contest" Terms and Conditions

 
By participating in the "TVB Anywhere 3 Zone - Watch & Win: Mother's Day Contest!", you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 

1.   Organizer & Contest Period: The Contest is organised by TVB Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (“TVBMY”). It will run from 30 April 2025 6:00 pm to 6 May 2026 5:45 pm (Malaysia Time) .  

2.   Eligibility: To participate in the Contest, individuals must be (a) a TVB Anywhere registered user who has registered to the TVB Anywhere services at the time of participation; and (b) use the email address registered with TVB Anywhere for submission. 

3. How to Participate:

Eligible participants who submit the correct answers and provide the best answer (“Entry”) in the Google Form will be selected as winner (“Winner”) and will receive the designated prizes (“Prizes”). 

4. Entry Requirements: Each Entry must (a) be written in English or Chinese, within 30 words; (b) not contain any inappropriate content, including but not limited to illegal, defamatory, abusive, profane, offending, sexual, commercial or harassing material; and (c) not infringe on any rights (including intellectual property rights) of TVBMY and/or any third party. TVBMY reserves the right to remove any inappropriate Entries and/or disqualify any participants without giving any reason. 

5. Number of Entries and Winner Selection: Each eligible participant may submit multiple Entries, but is not entitled to win more than once. TVBMY will select 1 best Entry from all eligible submissions. TVBMY's decisions on the winning Entry is final and not subject to dispute or discussion. 

6. Winner Announcement & Prize Collection: Only the Winner will be notified via email after the Contest ends. TVBMY has the right to determine the Prize redemption process. Winners may be required to present identification documents for verification as per TVBMY's instructions. 

7. Disqualification: If a Winner cannot be contacted or fails to provide the requested information within 48 hours after the first email notification, he/she will be disqualified without further notice. TVBMY is not responsible for any losses due to disqualification. TVBMY reserves the right to redistribute any unclaimed Prizes to other participants or handle any unclaimed Prizes in any appropriate manner. 

8. Accuracy of Information: Participants must ensure that all information (including contact information) provided is true, accurate and valid. TVBMY reserves the right to disqualify participants, refuse to award Prizes or retrieve already awarded Prizes if any information is found to be fraudulent, incorrect, incomplete, or if the participant violates these Terms and Conditions. 

9. Exemption of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, TVBMY and its affiliates expressly disclaim any liability for (a) any loss due to failure to complete the submission or loss of data resulting from technical problems; and (b) any damage, loss, cost, expense or other liability (including but not limited to tax) suffered or incurred by any person arising out of or in connection with the Contest, the redemption, use and/or enjoyment of the Prizes. No warranty is given as to the suitability, quality or condition of the Prizes and/or any parts thereof. TVBMY, the producer, supplier or sponsor of the Prizes shall not be liable to replace or reissue the Prizes due to any loss, damage or robbery of the Prizes. The participants shall indemnify TVBMY and keep TVBMY indemnified of any damage, loss, cost, expense or other liability (including third party liability) suffered or incurred by TVBMY arising out of their participation in the Contest. 

10.  Collection of Personal Data: TVBMY may collect, use and retain participants' personal data subject to Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and TVB Anywhere Privacy Policy (https://www.tvbanywhere.com/en/webtv/privacy). The personal data will only be used for the purpose of the Contest, including verification of participants' eligibility, contacting the participants and other ancillary purposes. Every reasonable effort will be made to safeguard the confidentiality of the personal data.  

11. Fairness: For the sake of fairness, TVBMY's employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Contest. 

12. Rights of Decision: TVBMY reserves all rights of decision in relation to the Contest (including but not limited to the right to cancel the Contest, change the Contest Period and/or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice). In the event of disputes, TVBMY's decisions and interpretation in relation to every aspect of the Contest shall be deemed final, conclusive and binding under any circumstance and no further appeal, enquiry and/or correspondence will be entertained. 

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction: The Contest and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong. The participants consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong in connection with any legal action that may arise in relation to the Contest and these Terms and Conditions. The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance shall not apply to the terms and conditions herein. In case of any discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
