Xair & Alan Light Up Penang with Powerful Performances and Irresistible Charm!

Organized by 988 FM- *a popular radio station in Malaysia, the highly anticipated annual event After Work Fest 2025 · Penang Unlimited PLAY ignited the Esplanade on July 26–27, drawing massive crowds and becoming the hottest music and lifestyle festival of the Penang summer. A total of 11 popular acts from Malaysia and beyond took the stage in back-to-back performances, creating a vibrant and electric atmosphere throughout the two-day celebration.
 

Among the highlights were TVB Malaysia artists — Xair, a breakout star from Stars Academy Malaysia, and Alan, a powerful vocalist from Midlife, Sing & Shine！3. Their on-stage 

The crowd erupted in cheers the moment Xair stepped on stage. Greeting fans warmly, she shared that it had been years since her last visit to Penang back in her primary school days immediately establishing a heartfelt connection with the audience.

She kicked off her set with the viral hit “Jumping Machine”, impressing everyone with her sweet yet powerful voice. She followed up with a soulful rendition of the classic Cantonese ballad “Only You Don’t Know” , earning thunderous applause from the crowd

Next, Alan took the stage, joining Xair and emcee Jeff, 988 Radio Announcer for a fun audience game segment where they handed out exclusive TVB merchandise. Alan followed with an emotional performance of “True Emotions Revealed” and “The Love You Want.” His vocals projected clearly across the open-air venue, capturing the attention of the entire audience. One memorable moment saw a fan approach the stage to present him with flowers, marking a clear highlight of the night.

Beyond the captivating performances, the festival offered over 50 unique market stalls and eight creative workshops, featuring handmade crafts, food, and lifestyle experiences. Visitors spent the afternoon browsing the market and participating in workshops, then relaxed in the evening with live music, a refreshing sea breeze, and views of the city lights—making for an ideal weekend outing.
 

TVB Malaysia also had a booth on-site offering TVB Anywhere subscriptions, giving drama lovers instant access to the latest Hong Kong dramas. New subscribers even received exclusive gifts and had the chance to enter a lucky draw to win limited-edition merchandise the kind money can’t buy!
