TVB Malaysia proudly unveils its brand-new original Cantonese Chinese New Year song, “All In For The New Year” in celebration of the upcoming Year of the Horse, proudly presented by UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) and Armani Group, and special thanks to Starbucks Malaysia, Spritzer Malaysia and Laguna Media. The song is scheduled for official release on 8 January 2026, inviting audiences to usher in the Lunar New Year with joy and festive cheer.

The lively new track “All In For The New Year” is performed by eight TVB Malaysia artistes : Rax Teh, Xair Pang, Andy Lau, Alan Seow, Ezen Chan, Zev Leong, Vincent Tan and Tyrell Low. Featuring an upbeat rhythm, catchy melody, energetic choreography and a comedy-filled music video, the song aims to deliver a festive anthem that instantly captures the spirit of the New Year.
The music video has recently wrapped filming. Reflecting on the experience, the artistes shared that while the process was rewarding, it also came with its fair share of challenges.

Rax Teh joked that singing and dancing at the same time was manageable, but filming a music video required precise lip-syncing while constantly being aware of camera positioning—making intense focus essential.

Despite having a dance background, Xair Pang admitted feeling extremely nervous during the first fullgroup dance shoot, likening the tension to having stomach aches before school exams. With the song’s fast tempo and numerous dance moves, both physical stamina and memory were put to the test.

For Andy Lau, stepping into a music video shoot for the very first timewas both refreshing and exhilarating experience. Dancing in a large group for the first timeleft a lasting impression on him, especially as he jokingly described himself as someone who tends to be “uncoordinated.”

Alan Seow candidly shared that dancing was his biggest challenge, jokingly referring to himself as the “Aaron Kwok of the giraffe world.” He added with a laugh that this was the first time he had danced with such seriousness, dedicating his full sincerity to the New Year production.

As a professional dance instructor, Ezen Chan acknowledged that the choreography was no easy feat. A New Year song dance routine needs to be fun, memorable, and perfectly aligned with the lyrics—making it a significant creative challenge.

Zev Leong noted that it had been a long time since she last danced in a large group, and with all eyes on set, nervousness was inevitable. She was particularly worried about making mistakes that might affect others, but the experience ultimately pushed her beyond her comfort zone.

For Vincent Tan, the dance shoot became an unexpected breakthrough. What he initially thought would be difficult turned out to be the most enjoyable and fun part of the entire filming process.

Meanwhile, Tyrell Low shared that one of the most entertaining moments in the music video involved a comedic monologue scene performed with a board, alongside Ezen. Their on-screen interaction was filled with laughs, and Tyrell teased that audiences should definitely look forward to it.
Director Wen Hao described the shoot as “fun and full of energy,” praising the artistes for their high level of cooperation. He expressed hope that the music video would showcase a more charming, authentic, and entertaining side of the artistes.
“All In For The New Year” and its official music video will be released on 8 January 2026. The project is expected to spark a new wave of festive excitement within Malaysia’s Chinese community and is poised to become one of the most talked-about original Cantonese Chinese New Year songs of 2026
